| Good day, one and all! Welcome to the all spankin’ new Hudson website! If you’ve never been here before then you aren't likely to know the difference, but since I already have you as a captive audience, you might as well enjoy our reintroduction!
For those of you who have been to various websites by gaming companies, you may have noticed that gaming companies seem to be very good at hyping their wares. After all, if you don't buy our games we don't make money! So, for our latest endeavor online, we wanted to reach out to our fans.
Our fans who have been with us for more than 30 years now. Fans of Bomberman, fans of the TurboGrafx system, fans of our ringtones, fans of our toys, and even TV shows! Yes, we do all that! With such a large fan base, we felt that rather than purely hype our products, we should do what we do best: entertain. And not just entertain through just our games, but through everything we do. Sometimes, when gaming becomes big business, we in the industry lose sight of what it's all about. We take ourselves a bit too seriously. That’s not going to happen at Hudson; we pride ourselves in being accessible. We’ll continue to maintain the fun and friendly atmosphere while making sure we do what we can to entertain you guys at the same time.
You'll start to see some interesting things happen on this site over the next few weeks and months. We're going to cover a lot more area than just our games. Our fans seems to be interested in such things as the hottest cellphones on the market, or what cool movie everyone in the office is talking about, or what's cool from Japan (where many of our games come from). We want to keep you guys entertained, and have fun doing it. Now, some of what we’re covering may be very fascinating, while other articles may make you wonder who the hell is running the show. And that's where you come in. We believe in the power of our fanbase. Let us know what you think: good and bad.
