Meet the Characters of BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion Pt 2
The Good, The Bad, The Evil Part II

by  Lily Luu

Last week, we checked out the heroes of BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion. With the upcoming games based on the tremendously popular series coming this Fall to Wii™ and Nintendo DS™, we thought we'd learn a little more about the notorious villains!  Who are these bad guys and what makes them think they can defeat out heroes? Let’s find out!

Benkei Hanawa

Benkei Hanawa, a big brute of a bully, is a member of the gang called Face Hunters.  In true villain form, Benkei excels at  stealing younger, less experienced Bladers’ points.  Although big and clumsy, with his Beyblade, Dark Bull, his speed and strength will plow through any Beyblader. With the purpose of gaining more points than anyone, Benkei may never truly understand that there are more important things in life than stealing.

Kyoya Tategami

Kyoya Tategami is the leader of the Face Hunters, a gang of over 100 Beybladers. The Face Hunter’s goal is to be the best, by any means necessary. Unfortunately, “any means necessary” truly holds no bounds for this renegade group of Beybladers. Armed with his fierce Rock Leone Beyblade,  Kyoya has the agility and might of a lion and for the strength to compete with any experienced Beyblader.  Perhaps as a leader, Kyoya should use his leadership to motivate young Beybladers instead of making their points his own. Kyoya and Benkei are certainly strong adversaries for Ginka and company. However, the true threat to Beyblades is still on the horizon. Stay tuned for more information on the truly remarkable characters that populate the universe of BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion!

Don’t forget BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion for Nintendo DS and BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion – Battle Fortress for Wii is coming out this Fall!
